We're Open! MoPOP to Welcome Guests Back Starting Friday, February 5

Get ready to experience pop culture from somewhere other than your couch, because we're reopening our doors!

Starting Friday, February 5, MoPOP will be open Friday-Sunday from 10 a.m.—6 p.m. The museum experience may look a little different, but we're still offering guests the same innovative exhibitions, plus new events and engagement opportunities modified for your safety. Here's some of the changes you can expect to see:

• Significantly reduced museum capacity based on state mandates (we have plenty of room, it's a huge building!)
• Guests ages 3 and up will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing from other parties
• Culture Kitchen is temporarily closed
• Due to reduced capacity, timed tickets are limited (reserve them in advance to guarantee your entry time)

In a time full of hardships, isolation, and uncertainty, pop culture has been a welcome respite. Now, you have the opportunity to turn off your TV, gather up your favorite fans, and head to MoPOP!

Due to the museum’s temporary closure, current MoPOP memberships and those purchased or renewed during the temporary closure have been automatically extended for the applicable length of closure. Those extensions will reflect 12 months of active membership status. This includes all levels of annual membership, including Fan, Friends, and Council. Affected members will not be issued new cards as our records will reflect the extension.
