Christine Capetola is an Andrew W. Mellon Engaged Scholar Initiative Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research mobilizes vibration as analytic for theorizing identity formation and historicizing the recent past. Her scholarship has appeared in Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture, and Society and is forthcoming in The Routledge Companion to Cyberpunk Culture and The Oxford Handbook of Electronic Dance Music.
