Liz Pelly is a writer based in New York. She is a contributing editor at The Baffler, where she writes frequently about the ways the platform economy is reshaping music. She is currently an adjunct instructor at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Between 2014 and 2018, she was a resident and collective member at the Silent Barn, working as part of a team that booked hundreds of all ages shows.
