The latest addition to MoPOP’s fantasy edition comes straight from one of the most beloved classic fairy tales.

Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) is a prequel to Snow White and the Huntsman (2012).

The film introduces us to Sara, played by Jessica Chastain, a loyal warrior who is supremely talented both in blade and bow and never misses a target.

Sara initially betrays her love, Eric the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), in her dedication to the Ice Queen Freya (Emily Blunt). Eric, in his quest to defeat Freya and her fiendish sister, Ravenna, reunites with Sara. With their love reignited, they battle to save the kingdom from Ravenna’s evil with the help of the dying Freya.
