Elizabeth Lindau is Assistant Professor of Music at California State University Long Beach. Her research explores intersections between avant-gardism and rock. Her writing has appeared in _Women and Music_, the _Journal of the Society for American Music_, the _Journal of Popular Music Studies_, and the edited volumes _Tomorrow is the Question: New Directions in Experimental Music Studies_ (University of Michigan Press, 2014) and _Brian Eno: Oblique Music_ (Bloomsbury, 2016). She is secretary of the IASPM-US.
