Paula Propst

Head of Research and Development - Consciously Studio

Paula Propst is Head of Research and Development for Consciously Studio, a grant writer/fundraiser for the Los Angeles nonprofit organization Color Film, and works in the labor movement. Paula holds a PhD in ethnomusicology from the University of California, Riverside. Her dissertation, “Sonic Feminism: Intentionality, Empathy, and Emotions at Rock and Roll Camps” examined relational autonomy amongst social justice organizations that use music education to empower girls and queer youth in the Southern California region.
