If you had planned to come to the Museum of Pop Culture this month to watch Oscar Winner Bong Joon Ho’s Snowpiercer on our Sky Church screen, fret not! We are now bringing our Movies at MoPOP series Good Planets Are Hard to Find (GPAHTF) right to your home.
At 6 p.m. PT on Monday, April 20, join Kasi Gaarenstroom, MoPOP’s Production Associate and Movies at MoPOP Producer, for our first GPAHTF online watchalong and discussion! For our Snowpiercer watchalong, we're asking our audience to register in advance. Then, before we begin on Monday, invites will be sent out via e-mail to join the virtual program!
To bring this experience up to MoPOP standards, we have some extra programming elements in the works for Monday night:
If you have a copy of the movie, queue it up before you hop online with us! If not, here’s where you can find Snowpiercer online:
Meanwhile, we'll host watchalongs for our remaining GPAHTF films on the third Monday of May and June, with Dune scheduled for May 18 and Planet of the Apes (1968) set for June 15. All programs begin at 6 p.m.
