Your classroom will work together to create your very own pop culture museum! Students will select artifacts from music, gaming, fashion, and film that matter most to them personally. Exploring the definitions of museums, pop culture, and curators, students will learn how a museum like MOPOP is created and taken care of.

• 1-hour version, $125 ($100 for Title I schools)
• 2-hour version (split into 2 visits), $250 ($200 for Title I schools)

Your classroom will transform into a group of explorers, discovering never-before-found species of fantasy creatures! Using what they already know about animal biology and habitats, students will add their imaginations to create and become unique creatures. Each discovery team will study real creature specimens to inform their creations.

• 3 one-hour visits, $600 ($550 for Title 1 schools)

This interactive tabletop role-playing adventure takes students on a journey through the sprawling Caves of Bemagorn! They will work in teams to complete challenges along the way with interactive props and puzzles. You’ll work directly with a MOPOP Museum Educator to plug in your own classroom content in any subject area! (Looking for a most cost-effective version? We also offer this as a traveling Kit that classroom teachers can facilitate on their own!)

• 90 minutes, $175 ($125 for Title I schools)

How do horror filmmakers elicit specific responses from their audience? In this workshop, we'll analyze scenes from Get Out (2017) and Umma (2022). Using these insights, we’ll craft our own spine-chilling horror story utilizing film techniques like music, camera angles, and dialogue.
