Layers of Heritage: A Family Workshop

The Rhapsody Project’s Layers of Heritage workshop helps families become more conscious of the multiple layers that make up each of our identities. Together we will go beyond the layer of a family’s ethnicities and reflect through music, drawing, and writing on the land families are raised on, the communities that raise them, the cultures they embody, and the cultures they are drawn to explore. Workshop ends with an invitation to share how these layers resonate with families and how these layers impact pop culture.

From Cardboard to Cosplay

Sci-Fiction 2 Sci-Reality

Meet a real-life star friend and blast off to outer space with an aerospace engineer! You will learn how to take sci-fi ideas like space trucks and starships and make them a reality. Take notes as we'll be rocketing to distant planets (sorry Pluto) and alien environments and will need to work together to build a vessel that can fly us back home.
