At MOPOP’s creative camps, young artists and adventurers step behind the camera, onto the stage, and straight into worlds of their own making.

MOPOP hosts week-long camps for creative kids ages 6–18, with sessions running July 13 through August 7.

Scholarships and installment plans available to help every young creator join the fun.

From directing original music videos to crafting fantasy and sci-fi games through STEAM-based creativity to unleashing their inner performer through the art of drag, every experience blends creativity, hands-on magic, and the kind of summer joy that keeps growing long after August.

The Art of Drag Camp

July 27–July 31, 2026 | Ages 12–18 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $480

Step into the spotlight and let your creativity shine. In this week-long camp, local teaching artists help campers shape a drag persona—whether brand-new or already in bloom—and prepare it for a full showcase performance.

NW Film Camp

Starting June 22 | Multiple Dates | Ages 12-17 | Price Varies

NW Film Camp’s week-long day camps for ages 12-17 offer a deeper exploration of the craft, guiding participants through the entire filmmaking process from script development to final editing.

Rain City Rock Camp

Week 1: August 17-21 | Week 2: August 24-28 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Ages 14-19 | $650 (Sliding Scale)

Rain City Rock Camp’s Advanced Music Program (AMP) is a week-long intensive workshop with a youth-centered, empowerment-oriented approach to musical development incorporates mentor-guided song writing, band participation and experiential learning.

DigiPen Open World Presents Explorers Summer Camps

Explore game design and stop-motion animation this summer at Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture.

Using the same techniques as blockbuster films, campers will master stop-motion animation to transform LEGO builds into their very own short films!

Explorers will transform their fantasy world ideas into playable adventures through physical design activities and digital coding with MakeCode Arcade.
