MoPOP is excited to introduce Pop Culture Connections, a new artist workshop series.
With the help of talented local artist and teacher Claudia Villalobos and friends, we’re bringing three free workshops out into the community. Focused on thinking outside of the box and creating something truly unique, we’ll be taking a look at our favorite pop culture moments to inspire something brand new.

Within his work, Kerry utilizes many different materials such as wood, paint, street signs, shoe boxes and much more to tell the story of life growing up in the 1990's, in Seattle, and with limited financial resources. Formerly an educator, Kerry has been a full-time artist since 2020.
Ashaunti Monique
Ashaunti Monique was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Art became a part of her life at a very young age. The moment her grandmother taught her how to hand sew she fell in love with creating her own clothing. Ashaunti creates one-of-a-kind custom pieces that embody innovative style. Designing is important to Ashaunti because it gives her an opportunity to express herself creatively. Seeing clients happy and satisfied when the vision has come to life is what makes her really love what she does.
