There are several convenient ways to visit MOPOP.
The Seattle Center Monorail connects Westlake Center (located downtown at 5th and Pine), to the Seattle Center terminal adjacent to MOPOP. Visit the Seattle Monorail website for detailed information on schedules and rates.
MOPOP is served by many bus routes, with frequent connections to downtown Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods. Visit the King Country Metro Transit website for detailed information on bus schedules, routes, and rates.
MOPOP does not have dedicated parking, however, ample street parking and pay lots surround MOPOP and Seattle Center. There is a pay lot next to MOPOP at 5th Avenue N and Harrison Street. This is the only Seattle Center lot where oversized vehicles, including school buses, motor coaches and recreational vehicles, may park. Designated handicapped parking spaces are available at all Seattle Center lots.

Give yourself at least a few hours, but you are welcome to spend as much time as you like during your visit. With 140,000 square feet of immersive exhibits, galleries, and more, there's plenty to keep you busy all day long. You can renter the museum on the day of your ticket purchase by saving your receipt or digital ticket to show upon re-entry.
Enter at the dedicated East Entry, located on 5th Ave N. and Harrison St. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Photography is allowed. However, flash photography, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited. Any commercial or other unauthorized use of any transmission, picture, film/type, writing, drawing, or other depiction or description of any MOPOP name, mark, or logo is prohibited without prior specific written approval from the MOPOP PR department. MOPOP may photograph, film, or videotape visitors for educational and promotional purposes. Purchase and use of a ticket is implied consent for the use of the holder's likeness, voice, or video image for marketing purposes.
Single strollers under 30” wide are permitted, though we strongly encourage guests to use umbrella strollers. Tandem strollers (double, triple, quad, etc.) including wagons are not permitted inside the museum. Additionally, only umbrella strollers will be allowed within certain exhibition spaces. Stroller parking is available throughout the museum.
Sorry, no. Pets are not allowed anywhere within the complex. Service animals are permitted and should be checked in at the information desk in the lower lobby.

Outside food and drink are prohibited. Food and drink are also prohibited in the gallery spaces. However, they are permitted in public areas, such as ticketing lobbies and retail stores.
