Artifact Stats: Michael Myers’ Mask

If there’s one thing to keep in mind this Halloween season, it’s that you can’t kill the boogey man.

Created by John Carpenter and Deborah Hill, the stoic slasher Michael Myers has become synonymous with the Samhain season. The character was credited only as The Shape in the original 1978 film, but since his inception Michael has become one of the most beloved (is that a weird way to put it?) horror villains of the 20th century.

Why it’s Scary: Pure white with blank, expressionless eyes, the sheer lack of emotion on this mask leaves your imagination room to run wild. Too wild.
