Watch 'But I'm a Cheerleader' With MoPOP + Special Guest Tori Truscheit!
For our "Grow Up!" film series, we're exploring adolescence in all its lusty, zitty, complicated glory. Beginning in September and running through December 2020, we'll be celebrating movies from all over the genre map that show just how joyful and confounding being a teenager can be.
You're invited to join us at 6 p.m. PT this Sunday, September 13, as MoPOP Production Associate Kasi Gaarenstroom and special guest Tori Truscheit lead an online watchalong and virtual discussion of the 2000 cult classic But I'm a Cheerleader, which—just like us—turned 20 this year!
Here are a handful of program elements you can expect to see:
Pre-film introduction with Kasi Gaarenstroom and special guest Tori Truscheit
Chat with Kasi, Tori, and other fans during the film
Post-film discussion on But I'm a Cheerleader
